Cost = Hotel Cat + twice the rate for room and breakfast
Where Hotel Cat =- £200 for a hotel with 1 to 5 bedrooms
- £250 for a hotel with 6 to 19 bedrooms
- £300 for a hotel with 20 or more bedrooms
In addition, the client is required to reimburse the full cost of the consultant's bill. This is to include dinner, bar and recreation facilities where assessed for the report.
Examples
A small B&B charging £25 per night could expect to pay:£200+(2*25) = £250
plus approx. £25 reimbursement, assuming no dinner or additional items on basic bill.
A medium sized hotel charging £50 per night could expect to pay:
£250+(2*50) = £350
plus approx. £80 reimbursement, assuming dinner at £30 including drink.
A large hotel charging £90 per night could expect to pay:
£300+(2*90) = £480
plus approx. £140 reimbursement, assuming dinner and bar at £50 including drink.
From this guide it follows that the exact final cost will vary depending on the consultant's choices and the hotel's restaurant and bar prices.

Bespoke Prices
Bespoke prices are very similar to those above except that we charge travel costs of 40p per mile on top of the rates shown. Additional consultants are usually charged at the 'Hotel Cat' rate but please check this with us first; particularly if you have made any special requests. For example:A medium sized hotel charging £70 per night and requesting a 'husband and wife' team visit would be charged:
((2*£250)+(2*70)) = £640
plus approx. £280 reimbursement, comprising two dinners at £30 each including drink, £80 travel expenses (for a 200 mile round trip) and £140 for the room.
What's Included
Larger hotels generally have more facilities and hence there is more to evaluate. This is one of the reasons for having a tiered pricing system based on the Hotel Cat. The accompanying table indicates what will be included in the report for your Hotel Category.
