Solution Management Independent Hotel Evaluations (SMIHE) is a consultancy firm that offers you a comprehensive report generated by a 'mystery guest' staying at your hotel.

Confidential. This is a confidential service between ourselves, we do not produce hotel guides or make information available to any other party.

Honesty. This arrangement allows us to be totally blunt and honest about what we find; leaving you to choose whether to quietly file the report or take steps to improve. In anticipation that you will want to improve, the report will state why we have made particular comments and, where not apparent, what needs to be done.

Realism. Of course we accept that hoteliers cannot provide Ritz levels of accommodation and service at Bed & Breakfast prices. Our report will be realistic but still challenge you to provide above the levels of customer expectation. Guests who consider they have received good value for money will come back again and tell their friends.

Transparency. We offer a transparent pricing policy that will give you a very good idea of the final cost before you decide to go ahead. The policy also allows us to accommodate all hotels at realistic and affordable rates. Prices start at just £260 for a £20/night B&B. Flexible. We offer special deals (where we target a particular area and evaluate several hotels over the course of a fortnight) to bespoke assessments. All have one thing in common, they are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs. For example, we can arrive at random or you can select a date - perhaps to assess how your staff perform on your day off!
